From the late afternoon through the middle of the evening, low
pressure system tracked northeast from north-central Illinois to
east-central Wisconsin. Heavy rain accompanied the low from
central to east-central Wisconsin where reports indicate 1 to 2
inches of rain has fallen. There are isolated reports of greater
than 2 inches across eastern Marathon and Portage counties. At 9
pm, temperatures ranged from the middle to the upper 50s across
the region.

The low pressure system remains expected to track northeast
and into northern Lake Michigan by late tonight. Periods of rain,
locally heavy at times, will diminish overnight.

An upper-level system is forecast to track through the Upper
Mississippi Valley on Memorial Day, bringing additional rain
chances to the region tomorrow afternoon. High temperatures are
forecast to range from the mid 60s across northeast and east-
central Wisconsin to the low 70s further inland.
