308 AM CDT Sun May 26 2024

Mostly cloudy skies prevailed across the region overnight with a
few sprinkles being reported at times. Temperatures ranged from
around 50 degrees to the upper 50s.

An area of low pressure, combined with an upper-level disturbance,
will move into the region today and bring periods of showers and a
chance of thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rain will be possible
at times. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 60s
over central Wisconsin, middle to upper 60s elsewhere.

Showers are likely this evening, gradually diminishing to a chance
of showers later tonight as the system pulls away from the area.
Low temperatures to range from the middle 40s to middle 50s.

For Memorial Day, another upper-level disturbance is forecast to
track through the Upper Mississippi Valley and bring additional
rain chances to the region, especially during the afternoon. Highs
are expected to be in the middle 60s to lower 70s.
