* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Madison County in western North Carolina...
  North central Haywood County in western North Carolina...

* Until 700 PM EDT.

* At 539 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles south of
  Newport, or 5 miles northwest of Smoky Mountains-Big Creek, moving
  east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Marshall, Mars Hill, Hot Springs, Smoky Mountains-Big Creek,
  Waterville, Faust, Walnut, Luck, Wolf Ridge, and Spring Creek.
