Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Wichita KS
329 PM CDT Thu Sep 26 2024

It was another warm and quiet fall day across the Central Plains as
light winds and widespread afternoon highs in the low to middle 80s
were observed. Only a handful of clouds over portions of eastern
Missouri and Arkansas were noted, with the majority of the Heartland
remaining clear and sunny.

Tonight, low temperatures in the 50s will dominate the region from
the Dakotas to the Red River Valley under mostly clear skies. High
temperatures on Friday will range from the 80s across the High
Plains to the lower 70s across eastern Missouri. Portions of the
Lower Mississippi Valley will see chances for showers and storms
throughout the day, while the recent dry pattern should continue for
the rest of the Central Plains.
