...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN NEWTON...
NORTHEASTERN SMITH AND SOUTHEASTERN SCOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM
CDT...

At 215 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pineville, or 11 miles south of Forest, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Newton, northeastern Smith and southeastern Scott Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
