.SYNOPSIS...

Tropical Storm Helene continues to exit well to the north, leaving
behind lingering strong winds and elevated waves/seas. Winds and
very rough seas will taper going through the day with generally
southwest to south winds persisting into the weekend. Otherwise, a
stalled frontal boundary over the Florida peninsula on Saturday
will begin to slowly lift northward towards the northeast Florida
waters early next week, accompanied by scattered showers and
thunderstorms. A cold front will then enter the southeast states
towards midweek, possibly pushing across the Georgia waters by
Wednesday night.

winds 30 to 35 knots with gusts up to 45 knots, diminishing to
15 to 20 knots this afternoon. Seas 9 to 13 feet, occasionally to
17 feet, subsiding to 7 to 10 feet, occasionally to 13 feet this
afternoon. Wave Detail: South 13 feet at 9 seconds and east
12 feet at 12 seconds. Intracoastal waters extremely rough.
Showers likely with a slight chance of thunderstorms this
morning.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots, diminishing to 10 to
15 knots after midnight. Seas 5 to 8 feet, occasionally to
