Lows last night ranged from the mid 40s across the Panhandle to
the mid 50s across north central Nebraska. Skies were mostly clear
to partly cloudy, with northerly winds around 5 to 15 miles per
hour.

Today, high temperatures in the 60s are expected across northern
Nebraska, with temperatures in the 70s across southwest Nebraska.
Northerly winds will become easterly at 10 to 15 miles per hour,
gusting up to 25 miles per hour. Partly cloudy skies become
overcast with showers and thunderstorms this evening.
Thunderstorms this evening could be severe, with the possibility
of large hail measuring 2 inches in diameter and damaging wind
gusts up to 75 miles per hour. Heavy rain is also expected with
thunderstorms this evening.
