...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ARTHUR...
SOUTHWESTERN GRANT...NORTHWESTERN KEITH AND CENTRAL GARDEN COUNTIES
THROUGH 415 PM MDT...

At 346 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge to
near Lisco. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oshkosh, Lewellen, Lisco, Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge,
Rackett, Dogtown Flats, Deer Lake, Jensen Lake, Bourquim Hill, Velma,
Adams Flats, Bluewater Battlefield State Historical Park, and Sugar
Loaf Hill.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 136 and 137.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of, southwestern and west central Nebraska.
