EVANGELINE AND WESTERN AVOYELLES PARISHES THROUGH 100 PM CDT...
At 1223 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Alexandria to Indian Lake. Movement was
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Alexandria, Pineville, Marksville, Bunkie, Moreauville, Cheneyville,
Effie, Ball, Cottonport, Mansura, Lecompte, Hessmer, Evergreen,
Plaucheville, Tioga, Esler Regional Airport, Indian Lake, Kingsville,
Dupont, and Poland.
This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 43 and 89.
