...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL BEAUREGARD AND
NORTHWESTERN CALCASIEU PARISHES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 556 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
De Quincy. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Westlake, De Quincy, and Buhler.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
