Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
220 PM CDT Thu Sep 26 2024

.DISCUSSION...

After and cold frontal passage yesterday and last night along with
being on the western side of Helene much drier air is quickly
working into the area. Min RH values will be in the 40% range
into the weekend and could be even lower if temps warm up a tad
more than expected. Winds will begin to back down tomorrow so this
should help keep any major fire weather concerns in check. Rain will
remain out of the forecast till at least next week.
