Chances for thunderstorms will return after 2am CDT, especially in southern Kentucky. Locally heavy downpours will be the main threat, including in spots that received heavy rain earlier this evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Periods of thunderstorms are expected Thursday through Tuesday. The main threats would be frequent lightning, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall. There is a fairly strong signal that severe storms will be possible Sunday afternoon and evening. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed at times over the next several days, especially Sunday. GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE NIGHT: Storms will generally move from west southwest to east northeast around 20 to 25 mph. Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity can be erratic and constantly evolving.
