...THUNDERSTORMS WITH SMALL HAIL MOVING INTO PORTIONS OF NORTHERN
ILLINOIS...

At 400 PM CDT, NWS meteorologists were tracking scattered showers
and thunderstorms across northwestern Illinois, each moving
northeast at around 45 mph. Each thunderstorm may produce small, non-
damaging hail. An isolated hailstone to 1 inch in diameter cannot be
ruled out in the strongest thunderstorms.

HAZARD...Pea to nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail may briefly cover the ground, leading to slowed travel
         conditions. In addition, sensitive vegetation may be
         damaged.

Locations impacted include...
Rockford, DeKalb, Belvidere, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Ottawa,
Sycamore, Dixon, Streator, Roscoe, Peru, La Salle, Rochelle, South
Beloit, Rockton, Sandwich, Mendota, Poplar Grove, Genoa, Marseilles,
Byron, Oregon, Mount Morris, Amboy, and Polo.
