A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect for Washington DC from late Friday night through Saturday morning. Moderate coastal flooding is possible at times Friday night into the weekend. Heavy rainfall could result in scattered instances of flash flooding, especially in the higher terrain. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday A Flood Watch continues through Friday evening for Augusta, Nelson, Albemarle, Greene, Madison, and Rappahannock Counties. Heavy rainfall could result in scattered instances of flash flooding, especially in the higher terrain. An isolated tornado is possible late Friday morning through early Friday evening, especially across central Virginia. A Wind Advisory is in effect from Noon to 11 PM Friday for the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as higher elevations of Augusta County.
