...THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to Portage
  Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle
  Royale National Park...
  Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI...

At 922 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers and
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 nm west of
The Western Lake Superior Buoy to 33 nm west of The Lower Entrance
of Portage Canal, moving northeast at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
The Western Lake Superior Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
