Warm conditions continue today with a clear sky and light to moderate afternoon onshore winds. A weak trough moves through Saturday, which will cool temperatures by a couple of degrees and bring gusty northwest winds during the afternoons Saturday through Monday. There is a slight chance coastal and high elevation areas see some drizzle Saturday morning. A more substantial warm up is expected for the middle of next week with temperatures well above normal, especially inland. However, at the moment it does appear that we will hold on to locally onshore flow and good moisture return for lower elevations through next week`s warm spell. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Above normal temperatures are expected today due to a ridge situated over Northwest California. Winds out of the northwest will be strongest along ridgetops in the afternoon. Relative humidity values are forecasted to be reaching down into the middle teens, especially in the eastern parts of Lake, Mendocino, and Trinity counties. This summer-like pattern is going to be disrupted as an weak low pressure system is forecasted to bring cooler temperatures Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. This system is forecasted to bring rain to the northern counties, whereas the southern counties can expected to remain dry with normal to below normal temperatures. Summer conditions will return Tuesday through Friday with temperatures well above normal across all areas. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-010000- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 447 AM PDT Fri May 31 2024 Warm conditions continue today with a clear sky and light to moderate afternoon onshore winds.
