Warm conditions continue through Friday with clear sky conditions during the afternoon hours and generally light to moderate onshore winds. A weak trough moves through by Saturday, which will cool us off by a couple of degrees and bring gusty NW winds during the afternoons Saturday through Monday. There is also a slight chance coastal and high elevation areas see some drizzle Saturday morning. A more substantial warm up is expected for the middle of next week with temperatures well above normal, especially inland. However, a the moment it does appear that we will hold on to onshore flow and good moisture return for lower elevations through next week`s warm spell. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA... Warm inland temperatures are expected today due to a high pressure system over Northwest California. Winds out of the northwest will be strongest along ridgetops today. Relative humidity values are forecasted to be reaching down into the middle teens, especially in the eastern parts of Lake, Mendocino, and Trinity counties. This warming trend is forecasted to continue into the weekend, peaking tomorrow in the inland valleys. Temperatures will return closer to normal this weekend before increasing next week. ##################################################################### ## ## ## Complete a discussion for each ECCDA segment below ## ## When done click transmit, product sent as KMTRFWLMTR ## ## ## ##################################################################### ECC010-311000- St Helena ECC Dispatch- DISCUSSION FOR Marin and Sonoma and Napa Counties 254 PM PDT Thu May 30 2024 Warm conditions continue through Friday with clear sky conditions during the afternoon hours and generally light to moderate onshore winds.
