...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WHITE...SOUTHWESTERN
WABASH...SOUTHERN EDWARDS...SOUTHWESTERN GIBSON AND NORTHERN POSEY
COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 546 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a broken line extending from 6 miles south of Mount Carmel to near
New Harmony to near Mount Vernon. Movement was west at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Vernon, Carmi, Albion, Grayville, Owensville, Poseyville, New
Harmony, Crossville, Cynthiana, Blairsville, Bellmont, Keensburg,
Griffin, Maunie, Browns, and Phillipstown.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 64 in Indiana between Mile Markers 1 and 16.
 Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 120 and 130.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
