This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Rain chances from the remnants of Hurricane Helene increase
tonight into Friday. There is a slight risk for flash flooding
overnight into Friday morning. Additionally, a few non-severe
thunderstorms may occur with lightning the primary hazard.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Showers and a few isolated non-severe thunderstorms linger
through Friday into Saturday. There is a slight risk for flash
flooding on Friday and Saturday.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
