NWS Storm Survey concluded that a low end EF-3 tornado with peak
wind speeds near 140 mph started 7 miles west northwest of
Mountain View and travelled east for a little over 6 miles before
lifting about 1 mile northeast of Mountain View. This storm
severely damaged three homes and completely destroyed a
manufactured home. Multiple outbuildings were also heavily damaged
or destroyed. The tornado also uprooted or snapped numerous
trees.

Tornadoes into the following categories.

EF0...Weak......65 to 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 to 165 mph
EF4...Violent...166 To 200 mph
EF5...Violent...>200 mph
