The quiet conditions will continue into Saturday as surface high
pressure ridge remains the dominant non-weather maker. Light
winds...clear skies...and dewpoints in the 50s will allow most
areas to drop down into the 50s overnight. A few spots that tend
to keep wind speeds up a little may stay in the lower 60s.

Temperatures have climbed nicely this afternoon already and have
reached into the mid and upper 80s, with more of the same expected
on Saturday. Generally carrying highs in the upper 80s to around
90.

An upper level ridge over the southwest US will build east across
the Southern Plains through much of the long term. As a result,
expect warm and dry conditions across the area through next week.
Highs will be mainly the upper 80s to lower 90s with overnight
lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
