...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN HAAKON...
NORTHWESTERN JACKSON AND SOUTHEASTERN PENNINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 830
PM MDT...

At 745 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
eastern Badlands National Park, or 24 miles west of Kadoka, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Philip, Wall, Interior, Quinn, Grindstone, Cactus Flat, Cedar Pass,
Cottonwood, Delta 1 Launch Facility, Delta 9 Missile Silo, and
Minuteman Missile Visitors Center.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 111
and 151.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
west central South Dakota.
