...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PERKINS COUNTY
THROUGH 500 PM MDT...

At 420 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northwest of Shadehill Reservoir, or 13 miles southwest of
Lemmon, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lemmon, White Butte, Shadehill, and Shadehill Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
northwestern South Dakota.
