...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PIKE...BULLOCK...
SOUTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY AND NORTHWESTERN BARBOUR COUNTIES THROUGH 530
PM CDT...

At 429 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Shopton, or 10 miles east of Meadville, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Union Springs, Midway, Pickett, Pine Level, Aberfoil, Franklin Field,
Beans Crossroads, Shopton, Boot Hill, Tanyard, High Ridge, Perote,
China Grove, Three Notch, Simsville, and Mount Andrew.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southeastern Alabama.
