For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Some isolated showers may linger along the western Colorado mountains near
the Continental Divide this morning as the latest weather system moves out
but otherwise should clear out by afternoon with mostly sunny skies and
slightly cooler temperatures with highs near to a few degrees above normal.
The heat is on as we start heating up through the coming week as high
pressure builds over the region. Highs Thursday through Saturday look to
reach triple digits in the lower desert valleys for the first time this
year with highs 10 to 15 degrees above normal. Moisture potentially returns
this weekend into early next week with storm coverage increasing mainly
over the high terrain and continued warm temperatures.
