433 AWUS83 KGRB 212052 RWSGRB WIZ005-010>013-018>022-030-031-035>040-045-048>050-073-074-220900- Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin National Weather Service Green Bay WI 352 PM CDT Tue May 21 2024 Ongoing showers and storms have continued to lift northeast across central and north-east WI this afternoon. Gusty winds to around 40 mph and small hail have been reported across central WI with this round of thunderstorms. Radar estimates are showing upwards of 1.5" of rain have already fallen across central WI with lower amounts to north and east. Temperatures as of 4PM were ranging from the the upper 50s to middle 60s across the region. A second wave of stronger severe storms is expected to race west to east across the area this evening. This line of storms is currently moving east at around 50 mph through central IA. Expect these storms to reach central WI between 6 and 7pm. All severe weather hazards are likely as this line of storms moves into the area. These hazards include strong damaging winds of 60 to 70 mph, large hail, a few tornados, and isolated flooding. Have multiple ways to receive weather warnings an information as these storms move through as conditions will likely change rapidly. Much of the region should become dry once this this line of thunderstorms moves through, except across northern WI where wrap- around showers may linger through Wednesday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall into the upper 40s to middle 50s overnight. $$ GK
