.Marianas Synopsis...
Gentle to moderate tradewinds and fair weather prevail across the
Marianas. Cirrus is seen across the coastal waters and to the east.

.Discussion...
Fair weather is expected to continue through today. Made a few
updates to the forecast. One update was for scattered showers
Thursday for Guam and Rota. Satellite indicates areas of higher
moisture to the south and east, and models indicate a slight uptick
tomorrow for Guam and Rota, most like to be low end scattered
showers. Another change, increased showers to scattered over the
weekend, looks like a weakening ridge and winds veering southeast as
a low off Japan moves across.

&&

.Marine...
Maintained the incoming 2 to 3 foot north-northwest swell on
Thursday from Typhoon Ewiniar. The storm is moving across pretty
fast, so it doesn`t look like there will be much north swell.

&&

.Eastern Micronesia...
Overnight satellite imagery and model trends gave confidence to
increase shower potentials at Majuro for today, as more minor troughs
have been developing upstream that will allow rainfall to persist
through the afternoon. Other than that, the weather and marine
forecasts remain unchanged for Pohnpei, Kosrae and Majuro.

&&

.Western Micronesia...
A surface trough east of Palau and Yap has generated some isolated
showers within Yap coastal waters during the overnight hours. A
trade-wind pattern will continue across Yap and Palau through with
scattered, with some isolated showers mixed in, through at least
Saturday. Model guidance continues to show a weak ridge will move
over Yap and Palau with Chuuk remaining on the eastern periphery
during the latter part of the weekend into early next week. For
Chuuk, trade convergence and weak trade-wind troughs will bring
periods of isolated showers through Thursday, becoming scattered with
isolated thunderstorms through early next week.

Gentle to moderate trades and benign seas conditions are expected to
continue across the region through the weekend. Altimetry this
morning shows combined seas between 3 and 5 feet.
