Scattered thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon into tonight with a moist airmass and frontal boundary in the region. A few strong storms are possible. The main threats are heavy rainfall, lightning, and locally gusty winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Scattered thunderstorms are expected Tuesday as a cold front approaches the region. A few strong to severe storms cannot be ruled out, but heavy rain and lightning are the main threats. Monitor the latest forecasts as the remnants of a tropical system could impact our area by late week into the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be needed.
