...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HART...EASTERN
GRAYSON...SOUTHWESTERN HARDIN AND NORTHEASTERN EDMONSON COUNTIES
THROUGH 500 PM EDT/400 PM CDT/...

At 435 PM EDT/335 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles east of Leitchfield
to 8 miles north of Brownsville. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Leitchfield, Clarkson, Rock Creek, Seven Corners, Saint Paul, Cub
Run, Lines Mill, Broadway, Broad Ford, and Peonia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT/700 PM
CDT/ for south central and central Kentucky.
