...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM EDT...

For the following areas...
Eastern Lake Okeechobee...

At 1029 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located near Lake Harbor, moving north at 50 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Canal Point, Sand Cut, Pahokee, Buckhead Ridge, and Lake Harbor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
