Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
310 AM MST Mon May 27 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry weather will persist this week with temperatures
topping out around 5 degrees above average each afternoon.
MinRH values will fall to 10% or lower across the entire region
beginning today which will continue to accelerate the drying out
of finer fuels. Overnight recoveries will continue to range from
poor to fair at around 25-40%. Winds are expected to generally
remain below 15 mph, but a bump in breeziness could result in
pockets of elevated fire weather concerns by the middle of this
week (peaking on Wednesday).

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
in the Area Forecast Discussion. See product PHXAFDPSR.
