...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL LAMOURE...
SOUTHEASTERN KIDDER...SOUTHERN FOSTER AND STUTSMAN COUNTIES THROUGH
730 PM CDT...

At 654 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 5 miles east of Buchanan, or 9 miles north of
Jamestown, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Streeter, Kensal, Marion, Ypsilanti, Buchanan, Spiritwood
Lake, Montpelier, Cleveland, Spiritwood, Pingree, Courtenay,
Eldridge, Sydney, Windsor, Edmunds, and Millarton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central North Dakota. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains
in effect until midnight CDT for southeastern North Dakota.
