This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

.DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected across Central
Alabama this afternoon and evening. Some storms could be severe
posing threats for damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes.
Locally heavy rainfall and flooding is also possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A second round of strong to severe thunderstorms is possible Saturday
morning through Noon, for locations near and east of the I-59
corridor. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes are
possible. Locally heavy rainfall and flooding is also possible
Saturday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed
today and Saturday.
