.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry weather is expected through this
weekend and much of next week. There is some uncertainty on the
timing of a cold front on Monday that could provide upslope winds
and decrease mixing Monday afternoon. Tuesday looks dry and only
slightly cooler with a bit more wind aloft, then winds will likely
be a bit stronger at the surface on Wednesday.

It currently looks like transport winds will be about 10 mph on
Monday, then 15-20 mph on Tuesday and Wednesday. Smoke dispersal
should be good each afternoon, and very good on Tuesday afternoon
and possibly Wednesday with a few more hours of good dispersal in
the late mornings those two days. There is some potential (20-30%) for
somewhat stronger west winds than are in the forecast and near
critical fire weather conditions depending on the location and
strength of a passing upper level trough.
