The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM...

* Until 200 AM EDT.

* At 135 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located near Hilton Head Reef, moving northwest at
  50 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create
           locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged
           in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  General Gordon, Beaufort 45 Feet Reef, Port Royal Sound, Fish
  America, Gaskins Bank Wreck, Gaskin Banks and Hilton Head Reef.
