This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

After midnight tonight and into the early morning hours on
Thursday, a few isolated thunderstorms will be possible across
portions of the outlook area along and south of the Nebraska-
Kansas state line. Any storms that develop are not expected to be
severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Early Thursday morning, a few isolated showers and thunderstorms
will be possible across portions of the outlook area along and
south of the Nebraska-Kansas state line. Any storms that develop
are not expected to be severe.

Late Thursday afternoon, but more so into Thursday evening and
night, chances for thunderstorms will increase across the outlook
area. The best chances look to be between 8 PM and 3 AM as a
complex of storms pushes through the area from northwest to
southeast. Wind gusts of at least 70 MPH are the primary threat,
but hail up to the size of golf balls and a few tornadoes are not
out of the question.

Saturday through Memorial Day, periodic thunderstorm chances
return to the forecast. It is too early to confidently assess the
potential for possible severe activity.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
