A weakness in the subtropical high will fill back in by Friday,
bringing more breezy trade winds into the weekend as the pressure
gradient becomes more zonal across the region. Gusts may trend
upwards of 25-35 mph at times locally. This pattern is expected to
persist through the middle of next week before another surface
trough develops and the subtropical high weakens. An upper-level
trough over the islands will keep some shower chances in the
forecast, particularly in the Saturday to Tuesday timeframe. These
chances look to come down by the middle of next week as well as
the trough weakens.
