At 411 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 10 miles southeast of New Castle, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Owenton, Corinth, Monterey, Gratz, Elk Lake, Beechwood, Harmony, Natlee, Keefer, New Columbus, Needmore, Elmer Davis Lake, Holbrook, and Lawrenceville.
