...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Davidson, Rutherford, Williamson and Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 528 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between
    1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Franklin, Lebanon, Nashville, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne,
    Mount Juliet, Nolensville, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Belle
    Meade, Antioch, Bellevue, Hermitage, Rural Hill, Belinda
    City, Berry Hill, Percy Priest Lake, Triune and Bells Bend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
