...THE SPECIAL MARINE WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The affected areas were...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...

The thunderstorms have moved out of the warned area and no longer
pose a significant threat to boaters.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT/900 PM CDT/ for
Big Bend and the Panhandle of Florida...and the adjacent coastal
waters.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT/430 PM

For the following areas...
Coastal Waters From  Ochlockonee River to Apalachicola FL out to 20
Nm...
Coastal Waters from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola out 20 NM...

At 448 PM EDT/348 PM CDT/, thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 18 nm northeast
of Apalachicola to 8 nm south of St George Island, moving northwest
at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
         vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
         on board are in a secure location and wearing life jackets.
         Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
         waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure
         all on board are wearing life jackets.

Locations impacted include...
St George Island, Port St. Joe, and Apalachicola.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT/900 PM CDT/ for
Big Bend and the Panhandle of Florida...and the adjacent coastal
waters.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
