Isolated thunderstorms are possible through this morning. Some of these storms may be severe over parts of southeast Missouri. As daytime heating increases thunderstorms may redevelop along and ahead of this stalling cold front. Severe thunderstorms are possible with hail and damaging winds the main threat. The tornado risk currently appears relatively low. Any storms that form will contain very heavy rain and may be slow moving leading to flash flood concerns. Storms may persist through early evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Scattered strong storms and isolated severe storms are possible each afternoon and early evening from Thursday through Saturday. Locally heavy rainfall may also lead to flash flooding. A more organized severe weather episode remains possible on Sunday. Flash flooding is also possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is likely Wednesday and may be needed at various points through Sunday. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather according to standard operating procedures. $$ JGG
