...GUSTY VIRGA SHOWERS TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...

After light winds today, models depict a wind shift out of the
northeast around 8 to 9 PM this evening with a few gusts possible. A
disturbance crossing from the southwest on Tuesday looks to have
enough moisture with it for some gusty virga showers to develop over
the prescribed burn area Tuesday afternoon, as well as isolated dry
thunderstorms a few miles to the north and east of the burn area.
Erratic wind gusts up to 45 mph will be possible near any dry
thunderstorms or virga showers Tuesday afternoon. A backdoor front
is forecast to cross Tuesday night with an easterly wind shift and
enough moisture for isolated, gusty, and mainly dry thunderstorms
over the burn area Wednesday afternoon.
