The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Dorchester County in southeastern Maryland...

* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 432 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest
  of Taylors Island, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  University Of Maryland Center For Environmental Studies around 450
  PM EDT.
  Cambridge around 455 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Taylors
Island, Woolford, Hudson, East New Market, Church Creek, Bucktown,
Linkwood, Lloyds, and Madison.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
