.DISCUSSION...Light and variable winds around 5 mph will be
shifting around 710-720 am this morning and start blowing from the
northeast at 10-15 mph. Winds will gradually turn east and then
southeast for the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms
will be developing in the area, mainly after 2-3 pm. Those would
produce gusty and variable outflow winds to around 35 mph, with a
slight chance wind could gust over 40 mph.

.REST OF TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (20-30 percent) until 1100, then
                    partly cloudy (35-45 percent) until 1400, then
                    mostly cloudy (65-75 percent). Chance of rain
                    showers and thunderstorms after 1200, but mainly
                    after 1400-1500.
CWR.................7 percent increasing to 12 percent late in the
                    afternoon.
LAL.................1 until 1400, then 2 until 1500, then 3 until
                    1600, then 4.
Max temperature.....Around 78.
Min humidity........23 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Variable up to 5 mph until 0720, then northeast
                    6-14 mph until 1000, then east/southeast 5-12 mph
                    until 1500, then south 8 to 13 mph. Gusty and
                    erratic winds expected near thunderstorms.
Mixing height.......Below 1000 FT AGL until 0800, then 3800 ft AGL
                    until 1200, then 6600 ft AGL until 1400, then
                    8900 ft AGL until 1700, then 5100 ft AGL.
Transport winds.....West 4-8 mph until 0730, then east 8 to 11 mph
until 1200, then southwest 9 to 16 mph.
