The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach out 40 NM...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 441 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 6 NM northeast of Joe Shuford Reef, moving
  north at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create
           locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged
           in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Joe Shuford Reef, Charleston Sixty, Capers Reef, Charleston
  Nearshore Reef, Rattlesnake Shoal, Bull Breakers, Capers Island
  Buoy and Bulls Bay.
