...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LA SALLE COUNTY THROUGH 1000 PM
CDT...

At 921 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Las Vegas to near Woodward
to 7 miles southwest of Artesia Wells. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Cotulla, Gardendale, Artesia Wells, and Woodward around 925 PM
  CDT.
  Millett around 935 PM CDT.
  Los Angeles around 945 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 50 and 82.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central Texas.
