Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
113 PM MDT Fri May 31 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Minimal fire weather concerns across southeast Wyoming and Nebraska
Panhandle as fuels have turned over to not receptive to rapid fire
spread. Will see critical afternoon humidity...especially along and
west of the Laramie Range Saturday. Expect afternoon and evening
showers and thunderstorms Saturday and across much of the forecast
area Sunday as a cold front moves through the area from the northwest.
Warmer and much drier weather expected next week with afternoon
humidity becoming elevated to critical as high pressure builds in over
the central Rockies.
