.DISCUSSION...
The early season heat wave will continue to escalate temperatures
and heat index values over South Central Texas, peaking this
weekend into Monday. Humidity values from Thursday through Monday
afternoons across Val Verde County, west of the dryline, will be
lower into the teens and single digits each day. However, the wind
speeds should trend a bit weaker through that stretch. Expect
most locations to remain rain free through Memorial Day weekend.
The only exception will be low chance for storms across our
northern counties each afternoon and evening through Friday. A
cool front is expected to bring more moderate temperatures and
some isolated rain chances by the middle of next week.
