  Little Sioux River near Milford affecting Dickinson County.

  Ocheyedan River near Spencer affecting Clay County.

  Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County.

  Little Sioux River At Linn Grove affecting Cherokee, Clay,
  O`Brien and Buena Vista Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River at Cherokee.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Cherokee city park begins to flood on the
  south bank of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 18.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Friday was 18.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest around
    18.0 feet this afternoon before falling into the weekend.
    This forecast may be impacted by additional rainfall Saturday
    night.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, significant amounts of pasture and other
  farm lands begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 12.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Friday was 12.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest around
    14.3 feet early Sunday afternoon. This forecast may be
    impacted by additional rainfall Saturday night.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Friday was 9.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest around
    9.6 feet tomorrow morning before falling through the second
    half of the weekend. This forecast may be impacted by
    additional rainfall Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, city sewers in Spencer can begin to back
  up. Highway 18 between Spencer and Dickens can start flooding if
  flows on the tributary creeks are also very high.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Friday was 12.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest around
    12.8 feet tomorrow evening before falling through the second
    half of the weekend. This forecast may be impacted by
    additional rainfall Saturday night.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, the city park in Sioux Rapids is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday afternoon to a crest around 18.5 feet early
    Monday afternoon. This forecast may be impacted by additional
    rainfall Saturday night.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
