...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of north central and
northeast Texas, including the following areas, in north central
Texas, Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt,
Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall,
Tarrant, Wise and Young. In northeast Texas, Delta, Hopkins and
Lamar.

The threat of new flash flooding has ended. Therefore, the Flood
Watch is being cancelled. River and streams remain elevated.

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and south central Texas,
  including the following counties, in north central Texas, Bell,
  Comanche, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas and Mills. In south central
  Texas, Milam.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with
  additional heavy rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated higher
    amounts up to 4 inches.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.

  McLennan, Navarro, Somervell and Stephens. In northeast Texas,
  Anderson, Henderson, Leon, Rains and Van Zandt. In south central
  Texas, Robertson.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
